Senate Bill 1010 required the development of agricultural water quality management area plans. The Walla Walla local advisory committee has completed a draft of the plan for the Walla Walla basin.
Presentations pairing conservation and compensation, Senate Bill 1010 (erosion control) and the Conservation Security Program (CSP) will be coming to your neighborhood this winter and early spring (2005). Topics will include:
How can you comply with Senate Bill 1010?
How can you prepare yourself to enroll in CSP?
Presentations will include information on tillage, grazing, irrigation, and more.
