2016 Projects Tour

When: Saturday, March 12th, 2016 - 9:30am - 3:00pm

Where: Albee Room at the Milton-Freewater Public Library (8 SW 8th Ave)

What: The WWBWC will be hosting a tour for community members and other interested individuals to showcase some of the Watershed Council's projects in the Milton-Freewater area.

The event will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Milton-Freewater Public Library Albee Room (8 SW 8th Ave), with a general overview of the Watershed Council and its projects, followed by a tour around the Milton-Freewater area to visit some of these projects, including river channel improvements for fish passage at Nursery Bridge, aquifer recharge at the Johnson site, levee setback at the Lampson property, and others.

 

Tour transportation and lunch will be provided. Activities will conclude by 3:00pm.
