Charting the Course Fundraising Challenge
Donate to Our 2024 Fundraising Effort At WWBWC, our staff collaborates to secure funding through grant proposals from government agencies, foundations, and other sources. These funds have historically been the majority of our funding. While we have successfully developed and implemented multiple restoration projects and monitoring and evaluation programs in the basin, these allocated funds are restricted.
Importance of Donations:
Donated dollars are currently our only source of non-restricted funding. Our goal for 2024 is to raise $27,500 in donated dollars. These funds are critical to our organization and will support endeavors such as building our capacity, ensuring long-term sustainability, and facilitating education and recharge programs in our basin, which are often challenging to secure funding for.
Fundraising Challenge:
Our board and staff are engaging in a fun and friendly competition through September to see who can raise the most funds for our organization.

We will fill in a river graphic displayed in our front window, visually representing the progress of our contest and goals. This river graphic also symbolizes the water quality and restoration projects we strive to accomplish in our watershed.
